Welcome to Week 156 of The Prompt. I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who linked up for Week 155. It was lovely to see people joining in after the summer break, and I really loved reading all your posts.
The idea of The Prompt is to focus on the writing. It is an opportunity to flex our writing muscles a little. Perhaps try something a little different, leave our comfort zone.
To take a ‘prompt’ and write something: a few lines, a few paragraphs, an essay, an anecdote, a story, a poem, a comic strip; anything! For me it’s all about communicating and enjoying the power, inspiration, humour and wonder of words.

I hope that you are inspired and that you will come back to link up your post! New posts inspired by The Prompt, or an old one that could have been, are equally welcome.
The Prompt runs fortnightly. The Prompt 156 linky will go live in two weeks time, at 10pm EST on 28th September, giving us all more time for inspiration to strike!
You can learn more about The Prompt here.
Every second Sunday I will publish The Prompt for that fortnight. The linky will then open on the Friday morning two weeks later, and will stay open for two weeks, allowing plenty of time to be inspired and to link up!
