And, here we are again. Two weeks, gone in a flash!
We had a wonderful Columbus Day weekend, last weekend (hence the two-week post!).
My husband took the younger two on a last day trip to Storyland, before it closed for the season, while my eldest and I went into Boston and spent a lovely afternoon at the Museum of Fine Art. I love that he loves visiting as much as I do.
Sunday was spent with a houseful of our friends, enjoying good food and good company. And, we were able to sit chatting on the porch until late in the evening. In October! Fabulous.
I’ve been volunteering at school quite a bit, helping out in the library and at lunchtime. The kids love me being there and it’s fun to see them during the day.
I’ve also been enjoying the sunshine, going for long walks with friends after we drop the kids off at school. Definitely one of the nicer ways to get fit, and a lovely way to start the day. Good for the soul.
All in all, it doesn’t leave a lot of time for taking photos, or this poor neglected blog of mine!
But, it’s been a great couple of weeks, all told. Glorious start to autumn, with a mini-heatwave to accompany the blue skies and gorgeous leaves. That’ll do me.
Hope you’ve all had a lovely couple of weeks. Head over to my Instagram feed to see the rest of this week’s 365 photos…
How lovely that you can take your son to the art gallery! Sadly, whilst mine enjoyed it in younger days, he seems a lot less keen now.
Nice to get to the art gallery with the son that enjoys it and leave the others to do something else they prefer, saves a lot of aggro.
A morning work is a great way to pass some time with a friend.
lovely blue sky with autumnal coloured trees.
I love a good wander around an art gallery. And it sounds like you’re always super busy now with school and the kids!
I love the idea of walking with friends. It’s great that you can help out at the kids’ school too.
