After a great deal of thought, I wrote a post a couple of days ago about a fellow mummy blogger Jennie @Edspire whose world has been torn apart by the loss of her daughter Matilda Mae.
When I first joined twitter last year I was a little skeptical. My husband’s main comment when he sees me checking in is still ‘so, what’s everyone had for lunch…’.

I take my little girl to a music class on a Wednesday morning.
It was my little girls first swim class of the year today. We did some classes at the end of last year and she seemed to enjoy it, so I signed up again for this session. She was on top form today! She had a great time, splashing and giggling. And I loved it too.

Catching up on all my favourite blogs, a post reflecting on the year past is, unsurprisingly, a common theme, and after the year we’ve had I thought I should make the effort to do the same.
