We have embraced the Thanksgiving tradition since moving to the US. For us it is a day for friends, food and lots of laughter. But, most importantly it is a day that encourages us to be thankful.
Taking advantage of a beautifully sunny Sunday afternoon, we headed to Breakheart Reservation with the boys bikes. The boys wanted to show me a loop around the reservation that I hadn’t fully walked before.
We went to the beach at Breakheart Reservation again this week. Just a quick trip one morning, enjoying the sunshine and a picnic. The kids showing Granny the fish. The boys discovering a ‘mermaid’ bug (don’t you just love their imaginations?!). The wee girl playing in the sand.
We’ve had a wonderful outdoors week this week! We’ve done lots of walking in the sunshine, played in the garden and the park, and had our first trip of the summer to the beach at Breakheart.
After staying in New Mexico for a week longer than we did, Granny arrived back in Boston last week. The 7yo announced at the weekend that he hadn’t done anything outside with Granny! And so began a week of outdoor fun… On Sunday, we took Granny to experience our towns Victorian Fair! I am still …
