Being the queen of procrastination, I have been meaning to start this blog since August when we made the big move to the States. Several months later, here I am!
I have a few reasons for blogging:
1. My life has changed completely over the last 12 months, and for a busy person who thought they couldn’t possibly get any busier, I have surpassed myself (fancy relocating overseas with a newborn anyone…? No, didn’t think so!)
2. The move to the US has given me the opportunity to stop and think. I have gained perspective. I am just as busy looking after the kids full time and still tired most of the time, but I am not stressed. This is a good thing, who’d have thought!
3. My kids are a source of wonder and I suspect I missed more than I’d like to admit when I was working full time, I don’t want to miss more. I don’t have any desire to go back to work yet. I know that will change and I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it, but for the moment I’m going to enjoy being a stay at home ‘mom’. And not beat myself up on those days that I hate it…
4. Three children later my memory is shot and I’d like to remember some of this journey :)
So, welcome to my blog, I will ramble, I will waffle, but hopefully sometimes I might amuse and entertain too!

Welcome! Glad you decided to get down and blog about your adventures as a mum. it’s just wonderful to have an online scrapbook of your family, I feel… especially when, like you said, the memory’s shot and I struggle to remember what I did on Saturday sometimes!
