173: Kings Cross: on the way up to Edinburgh after BritMums Live.
174: Flower: a splash of colour in my mum’s garden.
175: Memorial: the war memorial in Peebles.
176: Drinks: sharing some fizz with a friend in the lovely Tiger Lily bar in Edinburgh.
177: Branch: tiny apples, it’s going to be a good crop in my mum’s garden this year.
178: Boxes: the day of the movers… preparation for loading the container.
179: Celebrate: the wedding of the year for my good friends C&P :)
Week 27
180: Edinburgh: looking towards the National Gallery at the bottom of the Mound.
181: Gate: waiting to board my flight back to Boston.
182: Bear: the wee girl singing with her bear.
183: Baseball: the 8yo went to a baseball match and came home with a ball.
184: Swim: having fun at the outdoor pool.
185: Storm: 4th of July celebrations rained off and a day spent confined to the house!
186: A sign: after two years of making do with my UK travel hair dryer, I bought myself a new one :)

Day 185 is such a cute photo but I love the photo in Kings Cross; stations often make interesting places to take photos.

That was me (and the movers!) clearing the house in Scotland, which we have sold so needed to empty. I now have a container of random boxes from the attic and shed on their way to the US…!

Yes nothing say permanent like a hair dryer for that Country ! I love all your photos over the two weeks, a mix of over here and over there, the life of an expat for sure :) now you can focus on the boxes arriving and a new beginning :)

What an incredible couple of weeks you’ve had Sara. It just shows how big a job it was seeing all those boxes laid out like that, well done there. Great capture of Kings Cross, glad it’s not just me photographing stations although yours is far better! Awesome photos, must be nice to be home again now :)
I know, there were a lot of boxes! I think stations make for beautiful photos, always lots of interesting structures to photograph. And yes, I am very glad to be home :)
so thats it, house sold, no going back now. Hope you enjoyed Britmums, its a long way to come,doubt you would have got a sponsor for your travel…lol

I can’t believe that Britmums was just a few weeks ago, although it also seems like yesterday! Hope that you enjoyed your time back in the UK, but I can only imagine how happy you were to get home to your littlies.
