Week 3
011: Pond: our local pond is frozen and covered in a layer of snow (this was another jump out of the car to take a shot moment!).
012: Bright: the 5yo trying out his new straw (courtesy of a party bag!).
013: Sharing: the wee girl enjoying a play date.
014: Poorly: after a bad night, for both of us, the wee girl and I snuggled up on the sofa.
015: View: I spent the whole day in bed, this was my view.
016: Doctor: the wee girl tending to a cut on daddy’s finger (I was still in bed…).
017: Tea: my first mug of tea in four days…

Week 4
018: Bored: back in bed, flu be gone!
019: Fresh Air: a medicinal walk in the woods, a short one in my feeble state!
020: Siblings: I’m joining in with the Siblings project so a quick photo shoot after bath time :)
021: Chilly: still pretty cold, the wee girl wrapped up for the school run.
022: Treat: investigating a new (to us) café after an activity class.
023: Diva: the wee girl modelling my sunglasses…
024: Wonderland: this was the sight that greeted us when we woke this morning.

  1. Sorry to hear you were ill for so long, flu is horrible. Hope you feel better now.
I love the photo of the Wee Girl at the new cafe – she looks so excited! Your snow scene is beautiful. We haven’t had any snow :(

Thank you Sarah, getting there. She was very excited :) We’re about to have enough snow for everyone!

  2. glad your feeling a bit better, it really does take it out of you doesn’t it.
That picture of the 3 of them laughing on the bed is brilliant.
Hope the plaster helped daddy’s finger feel better.
What is in that drink she has got? looks like carrots.
I’m funny about straws, dont like them as I feel you can never wash them clean.

Thanks Elaine x The juice did have carrots :) It was lovely, carrot, apple, pear and pineapple, she drank the lot!

  3. Love the walk photo. Feels odd to have snow in one pic and then an autumnal type of shot in the next instant.

The 5yo’s drink looks interesting, What on earth was it?

    Hope you’re feeling better soon.

Well, you know what they say about New England weather, four seasons in one day! The orange drink was carrot, apple, pear and pineapple and it was lovely :)

  4. Not the best start to the year for you! Sorry it’s taken so long to reply to comments. We have one of those straws somewhere – need to find it actually. The snow looks so pretty but I am soooo glad we haven’t had any. Loving the Jackie O shot x

  5. Sorry to hear you had a poorly week. I hate being ill, not a very good patient at all.
I love your forest photo, it looks beautiful.
The snow looks so lovely, we’re hoping to have some here soon!
