Gorgeous boy, you are ten years old. Ten!
It seems like only yesterday you arrived and changed our lives forever. You have taught us so much, and we have loved every minute.
You are kind and confident, interested and interesting. You love reading fantasy novels, playing Minecraft and watching River Monsters. You have recently discovered the joys of watching house renovation shows and cooking competitions; you are definitely my son :)
You are bright and quick and you work hard. You approach each new project thoughtfully, and even if you require a little push every so often, you always do your best. We may joke about the book projects, but I have been so proud of all your creative ideas and presentations.
You love the same books and movies as me, and I love that we can share this. You can talk for hours about your latest favourite book, and I love to listen.
You are determined and focused. You love being on the swim team and we are so proud of how hard you practice and how well you are doing.
You are quiet and thoughtful, happy to spend time on your own. You are growing up so fast, and while you have your silly moments, you are responsible and careful.
You are a wonderful big brother. You are patient and considerate, most of the time! You crave peace and quiet, but you also love to play with your brother and sister, and they with you. They both look up to you, and your sister absolutely adores you. You are a lucky boy.
You make me smile, every day. So much character!
You have brought so much joy into our lives, and make us proud every day.
