Alphabet Photography Project: N is for Notre Dame

Alphabet Photography Project: N is for Notre Dame

We first went to Paris when the 8yo was 10 months old. I had never been to Paris before and it was wonderful. I was in heaven in the Art Galleries!

We had lovely weather and did a lot of walking around, seeing the sights. It was a fabulous trip and, somewhat bizarrely, we visited again exactly a year later, and enjoyed much the same sight seeing tours!

I have such fond memories of our first trip though, and this photo taken in front of Notre Dame is one of my favourites. Whether we get back to Paris again (and I would love to take all three children) it is fun to know that the 8yo has visited all these famous sights, even if he doesn’t remember any of it!

  1. Oh how lovely Sara, what wonderful memories! Paris is fabulous although we’ve not been since before POD was born. Hopefully you’ll get to go there again at some point :)

So hope I get to see you at BritMums so I can buy you a huge wine to say thank you for being so supportive while I’ve been in London. Meant to say too if you wanted to stay at ours on the Thursday night, just shout. We’ve in Guildford – 35 mins on the train from Waterloo. I’m working during the day but off on the Friday :)

Oh, Charly, that’s lovely! I will let you know as soon as I make a decision on BritMums…

  2. You’re braver than me! I won’t go on a city break yet with my little one & she’s 13m. Somehow seems more stressful than a relaxing villa holiday or something. But a lovely memory to share :)
