  1. Lucky you to go on a weekend in Miami, what a nice change for you! Love the snowy photos and those icicles are fantastic. That’s a great photo with your selfie stick!

It was very nice indeed, I felt very lucky, Miami was fabulous! I must try and use the selfie stick more, still feel like a bit of a twit taking it out in public ;)

  2. Love this round up esp as it goes for the first snow to one of the hottest places in the US! How lovely to get away and enjoy a bit of sunshine in between the winter months, I hope you had fun!
That family shot is such a cheeky, happy one – great use of your selfie stick!
Gorgeous photography as always, Sara xx

Thank you Tracey! It was bizarre to leave Boston in snowboots and put flip flops on when we got to Miami! A very nice little break :)

  3. Nice timing to leave the country just as it snows, one extreme to the other.
Love your hanging icicles picture. Nice to see the siblings doing things together
Looking very pretty in her dress.

We’ve had just the right amount of snow this year, which is a relief after the nine feet we had last year! Hoping we don’t get anymore, but I’d have been disappointed if we had had none at all x

  4. Love the photo of the five of you together and the contrast between the snowy tree and the sunshine on Miami Beach the following day. The wee girl’s red dress is so pretty and looks like she is having lots of fun in the snow. Love the sound of the home organisation book – hope it helps you in your aim to simplify.

  5. Aw I love that th wee girl wrote a valentines card for everyone in the class :) What extremes of weather you’ve had over the last couple of weeks! Some gorgeous pics. Hope you enjoyed your girlie weekend. X

She did so well, not even four yet and wrote (traced!) her name on 14 cards. The boys would never have been so patient!

  6. the beach looks lovely, looks like a fab weekend, I did wonder where you were last week when i popped over to say hi. Love your daughters dress, hope the snow melts soon

  7. Must have been a shock going from snow to warmth in Miami. Doesn’t your daughter look so much older all of a sudden – she’s got a lot better writing than N has too.

    1. It was, a nice one though! Coming back, not so nice :) The wee girl is getting so grown up all of a sudden, where does the time go! To be fair, she was tracing, but actually, compared to the boys at here age, her writing is really good. She’s a lot more patient and precise.

  8. The family photo is excellent! We had some snow last night but it was just a dusting and it’s gone again now, much to the disappointment of the girls!

    1. Thank you! We’ve not had nearly as much snow as last year, but just enough for the kids to enjoy it!
