‘I love my Mom’ by the 6yo!

My Mother’s Day gifts this year were wonderful – handmade with love!

One however deserves some individual attention…

My 6yo’s first grade class made ‘I love my mom’ booklets, a ‘fill in the gap’ type affair:

I love my mom 1
I like that he thinks that he looks like me.

Buying me gold sounds good :)

But most of all, I love that he thinks I weigh 2lbs… (but, perhaps it’s time to review the concepts of light and heavy!)

I love my mom 2
It’s nice to see that he thinks that taking care of the wee girl is ‘hard work’. I remember a friends daughter, describing her mums Marketing job: ‘she drinks tea and eats biscuits’…!?!

But I really have no idea why he thinks I’m good at babysitting… Maybe because I make good snacks and let them play Skylanders!

Speaking of which… the clincher for me has to be the fact that he wouldn’t swap me, not even for every Skylander! And he loves Skylanders :)

I’m linking up to Actually Mummy’s Wot So Funee linky again this week – I really enjoyed the other posts last week! Click on the badge below to have a giggle at some other fun posts.

I bet the teacher had the best time designing the booklet for maximum fun answerage. :-) That is just brilliant.
