Boys!

Having two boys was always going to have it’s volatile moments.

On the whole the boys get on very well. The three year age gap has it’s advantages.

It also has it’s disadvantages.

The 7yo now finds the 4yo annoying. The 4yo thinks the 7yo is mean.

As the saying goes (almost): when they are good, they are very, very good. When they are bad, they are horrid!

They fight like, well, like brothers.

And give Mummy a headache.

But, when the 4yo comes out with statements like this, said in a wonderfully chatty tone:

Sometimes when I accidentally do karate in the car, I accidentally punch [the 7yo] in the face.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

One thing’s for sure, you will hear me sigh (again) in despair – boys!?!

[Although, I fully expect the wee girl to give as good as she gets!]

I’m linking up to Actually Mummy’s Wot So Funee linky again this week. Click on the badge below to have a giggle at some fun posts.

  1. Not laughing at the arguing as yes it can be very irritating!! But the comment lil boyo made is so funny** the comments my step girly comes out with when she has knowingly hurt her brother and she knows we know are just too funny, have to restrain my giggles when telling her its naughty behaviour to hurt. Obviously the lil bubb boy isn’t hurt really** ;) she recently said to me she tripped and fell onto his scooter and that’s why she was riding down the hall on it when he was patiently holding it waiting to go to the park…hehe

  2. Ahh I know that feeling of when they are good, they are very, very good. When they are bad, they are horrid! My girls fight like cat & dog one minute and the next they are best of friends….lol
