I don’t have many photos of me and the three. I’m generally behind the camera, not in front of it.
But, occasionally hubby catches a shot like this. And, I love it.
It was such a simple thing. The 4yo was snuggled up against me watching TV. That meant that the wee girl just had to climb on to my lap and try and push him out of the way. The 7yo, feeling left out, squeezed in beside me.
It lasted for a good few minutes, all snuggled up on the sofa, before one of them (the wee girl!) got bored and wriggled away.
But, for once I have a photo.
Of me with my gorgeous, funny girl; my affectionate, wonderful 4yo; and my big boy, looking so grown up and handsome (and almost the same size as me!).
It won’t be long before the 7yo won’t want to squeeze in, the 4yo won’t be so snugly and the wee girl will be too busy. So, I will treasure these little moments for as long as they continue.

Love this picture. It’s so hard to get pictures with me and my two because I am the only one that ever takes them. This is just picture perfect. What a magic moment for sure. My son is always trying to run from the camera, daughter wants to eat my hair or look down at the ground, and mr p never wants to be in them or take them. lol sucks for a snap happy mommy like me. lol
Ah, that is a truly lovely photo. A moment to treasure, as you say x
Such a lovely photo. Mine always sit on me!
Mine are now outgrowing the cuddles, I wish I had a picture like this! Beautiful xx
What a beautiful photo! I only have the 2 boys but find it impossible to get a good photo of us. My husband is hopeless at photos and always misses any rare opportunity!
Lovely post and lovely photo. We have to treasure these moments while we can :) Only my own wee girl will cuddle up to me now, although both boys like me to look after them when they’re feeling cold at rugby!
Love this photo hon, you all look so happy xx #MagicMoments
Oh, this brought a little lump in my throat, I understand just what you mean in terms of these precious moments being so fleeting, so grab them while you can. What a gorgeous photo! x
Ps – hope you can take some time out for you at some point and perhaps pop by tomorrow to link a post up to #AllAboutYou!

Such a wonderful photo of you all Sara, definitely one to treasure. Perhaps we can remind each other to take photos of ourselves – there are very few of me too. Great work by the hubby with this one, it’s lovely. Thank yo for sharing with #whatsthestory
Oh, I love this. The photo is brilliant and I know exactly what you mean about usually being the one behind the camera. And having your three gorgeous children together-there’s nothing quite like those little moments is there.
Gorgeous!I am the same-not many photos of the 3 of us, not to mention the 4 of us!Just thought of a new years resolution there-get more family photos taken!
What a gorgeous photo. I don’t have many of me with my two either but those moments are so special and are definitely to be treasured.

Fab photo… These photos that are taken on the spur of the moment are the Best!!! :) Im usually the one behind the camera also x
This is absolutely beautiful, perhaps one for a frame? I need to get more photos of me and my two girls together as well. Thank you for linking up with the ordinary moments as always, I love seeing your posts. x
I love this picture of you and your three little ones. It is always the spur-of-the-moment, unplanned shots, that end up being the best family portraits… I bet you treasure that one! Mel #MagicMoments
Wonderful photo – I am exactly the same, usually behind the camera and I often wish I had more photos of myself with the children. x
What a gorgeous photo and a great post. Like you, I’m normally behind the camera so I don’t get many pics with Lucas. This is beautiful. Hope its framed and hung pride of place in your home #magicmoments #whatsthestory
Fab photo – I have the same issue with never being in any of the shots, though managed to turn the tables on my husband at my daughter’s 4th birthday party… I put him in charge of photography!!! #MagicMoments #WhatsTheStory
