We’ve had a tough week in our house. I’ve had, what I’ve taken to calling, ‘flu-like symptoms’ (I’m loathe to use the word flu lightly) which saw me spend almost five days in bed. The wee girl has not been herself either, with fevers, coughs and sneezes; thankfully to a lesser extent than me!
She stopped napping months ago, but this last week she has fallen asleep at random moments, most days. Here she is sitting at the kitchen table, having just refused dinner; she had clearly had enough.
She put her head down and within seconds she was asleep.
As I write this, the first thing I’ve managed to write in a week, we are both finally on the mend, albeit tired and a bit grumpy.
I’m hoping there will be no more falling asleep at dinner!
Very pleased to see the return of the Alphabet Photography Project, even if I am a week late with the letter A. I’ll be back shortly with the letter B…
I’m also sharing this image with the new Image of the Week linky over on Truly Madly Kids. No technical camera speak from me I’m afraid, this was taken with my iPhone 5S, then played with in PicMonkey (exposure etc. fiddled with to brighten and sharpen contrasts, then I added a couple of different filters, again playing with the density of these, until I was happy!).

I can’t believe she’s sleeping with her head on the table, she looks so peaceful and content. My youngest (who recently stopped her naps) often gets over tired at super time and will fall asleep at the table too. This picture is so beautiful and such a perfect captured moment xx
