I registered this girl for Kindergarten this week. Kindergarten. In less than two months, she will turn five. How has this happened?!
Time, it just keeps on moving, doesn’t it?
It’s been a good week, I even managed coffee with friends who I hadn’t seen for weeks. Months, actually. It’s been a slow one, and a reasonably quiet one, and it’s left me with plenty of time to think. Of how fast time passes. Of how easy it is to find that a month, two months, more have gone by without realising.
Definitely a week that reminded me how important it is to enjoy the moments.
This little girl came home from school on Thursday complaining of a sore tummy. She was pale, and not her usual self, and actually fell asleep in the middle of the afternoon. Unheard of! She woke, was spectacularly sick, and then fell asleep again.
Thankfully, she woke on Friday back to her usual self, but just to be on the safe side we skipped dance class. So, to cheer ourselves up we made the most of a beautifully sunny, albeit cold, morning and went for a walk.
This face says it all. There’s very little that some fresh air and sunshine can’t fix.
Hope you’ve all had a lovely week. Head over to my Instagram feed to see the rest of this week’s 365 photos…

Bless her, glad the bug didn’t last long. Can’t believe she’s going to be 5 – eek! #365
I know! My baby is five!!
So glad you are all feeling better. You are right about sunshine and freshair! #project365
It’s amazing what a difference it makes, isn’t it!
what a happy smiley face! Little ones are funny like that, poorly one day and then right as rain the next. x
I know, I wish I recovered from things that fast!
I love this photo, it’s so full of light but considering it was taken when she was coming out of her poorly bug makes it more spectacular. Glad she’s all better & a walk and some fresh air is sometimes the best medicine!
Wow, I can’t believe the time has gone by as I so remember reading about your days out together, just the two of you whilst the boys were in school. Seriously, time is whizzing by.
Lovely post

Hi Sara, sometimes it’s scary to acknowledge how fast time flies. Your little girl looks well recovered and I do like her sunglasses.
xx
That face really does say it all, glad she’s feeling much much better. And how is she 5 years old? I’m sure I remember her as a little cute 2 year old and now she’s so stylish and almost ready for school!
