It’s been another busy couple of weeks. I am done. Completely. I cannot wait for summer vacation to start.
Slow mornings, lazy fun, no rushing *sigh*, it really can’t come soon enough.
My daughter has just over a week left at preschool, and the boys finish up a week after that.
My mum arrives on Tuesday.
The sun is shining, (for the moment…we’ve had a super damp May!) and thoughts are turning to pool and beach days.
It’s starting to feel a lot like summer!
But, before that we have a few more events and activities to get through.
In the last couple of weeks alone we’ve had a dance recital, science fair, scout events, swimming, soccer, a trip to Fenway to watch the Red Sox (where the kids got to run the bases, how cool is that!), dinners with friends, birthday parties, school Open House, the 5th Grade ‘graduation’ party…
To come we still have Field Day (sports day!), a field trip, class parties, swim meets, an 11th birthday, elementary school graduation *sob*, a Middle School visit… I think the first week of summer will be spent sleeping!
All of this chaos has resulted in rather haphazard photo taking, and I have *whispers* missed a few days a long the way. But, I’m still here. Just.

POSY: a little bit of sunshine to brighten up the many grey days that we’ve had.

YELLOW: a summery outfit to suit a much needed sunny day.
Hope you’ve all had a lovely couple of weeks. Head over to my Instagram feed to see the rest of this week’s 365 photos…

Love the yellows of both photos. Nice to get some brighter days. (although we’ve been lucky with ours here!)
What a beautiful splash of colour! We’ve just had half term and another 7 weeks until Summer hols – how long do you get off for Summer? x
This year it’s ten weeks, if we hadn’t had snow days, it would have been closer to eleven! A long time to keep them busy :)
Loving all the yellow. Perfect for the start of Summer. #365
sounds like you have a few busy weeks ahead, shame you have missed a few pictures, but keep at it. Nice to see the sun out in the shadow picture. Have to say we had quite a dry May for the most part.
hope you have a lovely visit with your mum
Totally get where you are coming from on the photo front. I love your cheerful yellow flowers picture though.
