Reflections: Week 46

It’s been a good week here. Like most weeks it’s flown by, but it’s been a good busy and despite it all being a bit of a blur, I feel like it’s been fun.

And, touch wood, I’ve finally shifted that nasty cold!

My husband was travelling for work, so that probably contributed to the blur. But, the kids were great and we made it to all activities, just about.

Tuesday defeated us; starting with a 7.30am yoga class for my daughter, followed by my volunteering for her class library session, garden club for my daughter and younger son after school, followed by a 20 minute turnaround to get my little girl to her dance class. Swim team practice fell off the list in the evening!

And I have to wonder at the fact that my husband always seems to be travelling for kids doctor and dentist appointments…

To round this week out it was Crazy Hair day for my younger two. Thursday evening saw me making a rainbow out of pipe cleaners and Friday morning saw me pinning said rainbow into my daughters hair, complete with blue sky and white clouds, and creating a rainbow maned unicorn for my son!

The kids were pleased with the results, and that’s what matters. Although, I should know better by now and aim lower. I’ve set a precedent with my daughter. I’ll have to come up with something good again next year!

Hope you’ve all had a lovely week. Head over to my Instagram feed to see the rest of this week’s 365 photos…

  1. That’s pretty clever hair accessories. Very impressive. Glad I don’t get that kind of request! Hope next week is a bit calmer (7.30am!!!! for a class)
