Before we moved to the US I had never seen so many pumpkins! Halloween really is a big deal here, as is decorating your front porch and garden; for the season as well as the event.
Pumpkins appear as soon as Fall begins and most houses will have at least a few at the front door. They are everywhere, and going to choose your pumpkin from a local farm is a common family tradition.
The last couple of years we’ve picked ours up at the school’s Pumpkin Festival, but we saw these ones when we went apple picking. This was only a fraction of the display; pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins!

It’s becoming a bit more popular here now too. Daddy P normally brings us one home from his warehouse but I think this year I might take Monkey to a farm to pick his own #alphabetphoto

Agree with Mary, it is becoming a more common sight here, but still not on the scale of the US. Love the idea that you have a pumpkin festival at school. Reminds me of Linus and the Great Pumpkin in Snoopy. Love the lines of pumpkins in your photo. Draws the eye. #AlphabetPhoto

Wow wow wow that’s some awesome amount of pumpkins lol, we kinda witnessed Halloween at Disney in Florida and that was awesome but proper celebrations in real neighbourhood has got to be awesome. #alphabetproject
