So, a last minute decision was made and a plane ticket booked, and I’m going to BritMums Live!
With the end of term upon us, and all that goes with it (field trips galore, teacher gifts to buy and make, Sports Day…), my son’s ninth birthday (party and presents and cake) to organise and Father’s Day to prepare for (and miss); I think I may have been in denial that I get on a plane later today :)
In any event, I can avoid that inevitability no longer, and I will admit that I am now getting just a little bit excited…
So, I may well take the prize for being the very last person to join in this meme, but here goes!

Is this your first blogging conference?
No, I went to BritMums Live last year, loved every minute of it, and booked this year’s ticket when I got home! But, I didn’t then decide whether I would actually use it until about three weeks ago…
Are you attending both days?
Yes, I’m coming quite a long way, so I’m taking a few days and plan to play tourist and hopefully catch up with some friends before I fly back home.
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015?
Seeing friends, both those that I met last year and those that I have yet to meet in the flesh.
What are you wearing?
Probably a dress on the Friday and jeans and a top on the Saturday; and flat shoes!
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
I hope to leave feeling reinvigorated and inspired; with lots of ideas to work on over the summer.
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
It can be daunting to arrive into such a big group. Try and meet up with a smaller group before you arrive, but if that’s not possible, please try not to feel intimidated. Everyone really is lovely and friendly, and the atmosphere is just fab. Find a Butterfly if you’re feeling lost. Also, don’t try to cram in too many sessions and miss out on the general chit chat; meeting friends and cementing relationships is important too.
I can’t wait to meet everyone, and I know that by the time I get on the plane on Wednesday night I am going to be super excited!
Right now: I haven’t packed, I’m really not completely sure what I’m wearing, I certainly have no idea what is going to be in my bag and I may be incredibly jet lagged when you meet me.
But, please do come and say hi when you see me :)

I am more nervous than ever this year as I am totally disorganised and my OH has been away all week. but come Friday I will make sure I am as calm as I can be. Hopefully see you at All Bar One if you are going there again x
