Today it has rained, all day! After such a run of good weather it was a bit miserable to be cooped up inside!
When we got home from collecting the 6yo from school though, the 4yo proved that there really is no such thing as bad weather. He didn’t care that it was raining – in fact the rain meant that there were puddles, which meant that he could mix potions…
He told me that he needed to dig in the mud and then stir it in to the puddles. He had to swish and swirl the water and then he had to pop all the bubbles that he had made when he swished. The stinky potion would then be ready to go swoosh and splash and pwah at the baddies and defeat them!
So, when there are baddies to be fought, who cares if it’s raining :)
What do you mean it rained!!!! Looks like you still made the most of it though and had a great time with those puddles :)
I know! How could it! It is absolutely chucking it down :) I’m trying to be positive and think of it as being good for our plants… xx

Thank you :) The wee girl was safely inside! I have the cutest welly boots for her, but until I can be confident that she won’t immediately sit down and scoot through the puddles on her bum, I think I’ll just let her watch from a safe distance :)
