This weekend saw us celebrate the wee girl’s second birthday. I cannot quite believe that she is two! I know we all say that it goes too fast; but it really does.
My beautiful girl; you are such a character. You boss us all around, and frankly have us all wrapped around your little finger. You are confident and outgoing; most of the time! You snuggle into me in a way that makes my heart melt when you’re unsure.
You light up the room; your humour and personality shine. You are funny, stubborn, willfull, hard work, amazing, a complete show off, clever, bright, engaging and determined. You know what you want, you hold your own with your brothers, you have spectacular diva moments.
You chatter and giggle. You help and organise. You are caring and kind. You hate to see your brothers cry; you stroke their hair and kiss them better.
Your comprehension is scarily good, no getting anything past you. Your language is coming on brilliantly, you can certainly get your message across!
You adore Curious George, or Georgio as you call him. But, you are starting to branch out and Toomi (Team Umizoomi) and Doggies (Paw Patrol) occasionally get a look in. You amaze me by answering the questions in Toomi…
You still love bay-be and now have several, all of which are well taken care of; you feed them, change their nappies, take them for walks and put them down for naps (shhh, ‘leeping…).
You won’t go to bed with out your rabbits. God forbid we should ever lose one of them!
You can swim! You amazed us all a few weeks ago by getting into the pool and heading off on your own. You were so pleased with yourself, it was a magical moment for me to witness.
You may drive me nuts and exhaust me with your constant motion, questions and demands. But, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
You have had a wonderful birthday, with presents and cake :) You were so excited by your little pile of presents, immediately exclaiming mine and ripping paper! Your brothers helped you with all the packaging :) You had the best time blowing out your candles, again, again! I will treasure the look of pure joy on your face.
My beautiful daughter; I love you more than I thought possible, you have completed our family in the best way imaginable and we all adore you. You make us laugh, you make us proud and I can’t wait to see what our next year together brings.
