After a great deal of thought, I wrote a post a couple of days ago about a fellow mummy blogger Jennie @Edspire whose world has been torn apart by the loss of her daughter Matilda Mae.
This devastating loss has touched the hearts of many, myself included. My daughter is a few weeks older than Matilda Mae and every time she has smiled at me this week my heart has broken a little more for Jennie and her family.
I hope that the support shown by the twitter community has in some small way brought comfort. We are all so very very sorry for your loss Jennie, and you are in our thoughts. I wish that there was a way to take away your pain. I wish we could do more to help. I wish that this had not happened.
I found this excerpt from The Little Prince today and it made me think of Matilda Mae.
In one of the stars, I shall be living.? In one of them, I shall be laughing.?
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing?, when you look at the sky at night.
