Another double helping! Weeks two and three of the summer holidays, my sanity remains reasonably intact…
Week 27: 1-7 July
Monday
Did a bit of shopping in the morning and then treated the kids to a cake in Starbucks for being very patient, quiet and helpful!
Tuesday
Soccer for the boys in the morning. I spent two hours chasing wee girl around the park… Headed to library in the afternoon.
Wednesday
We had a lovely trip to the beach at Breakheart.
Thursday
We went to our local 4th of July celebrations on the Common.
Friday
I went for my first run in a long time. The 7yo has just joined the Cub Scouts, so we headed to the Scout shop to pick up his uniform!
Saturday
Hubby sat his Massachusetts driving test – and passed!
Sunday
A quiet day at home watching the tennis and enjoying the garden.
Week 28: 8-14 July
Monday
Shopping again in the morning!
Tuesday
We nipped out and bought birthday presents for a party on Wednesday and then headed to soccer. Baked cupcakes in the afternoon!
Wednesday
A lazy morning :) Two of the 7yo’s friends had a joint birthday party in the afternoon – I braved Route 1 (the road from hell) to get there – very proud of myself :)
Thursday
The 4yo’s soccer was rained off, but the 7yo’s wasn’t! Water fun in the garden in the afternoon.
Friday
We went to the library in the morning and stayed for story time and touch a truck!
Saturday
I spent most of the day cleaning for my sisters visit next week!
Sunday
I headed out to do all the food shopping and managed to grab a couple of hours to myself with a tea and blogs too!
