Last week both boys attended a Lego Camp.
They loved it! And I quite liked the peace and quiet while they were there…
Over the course of the week the 7yo built a Space Station.
On the last day, family and friends were invited to go along and see what the kids had been up to. The 7yo very proudly showed me his Space Station.
What I loved most though was the description that he had provided to go with it:

I love Guard 2 – snake slicer…! You get a lot of snakes in space you know :)
We have a spike shooter to go with our spike ship. A tire slicer to go with our tire ship (and much as I’d like to correct the spelling of tire/tyre on that one, it’s not wrong over ‘ere!).
And where would we be without our lightening laser ship and laser spy plane? You can never have enough lasers!
Lego Camp was a huge success, the boys loved it, and it has reignited their interest in their Lego – which can only be a good thing.
Imagination. Invention. Creation.
And no screens…!
I’m linking up to Actually Mummy’s Wot So Funee linky again this week. Click on the badge below to have a giggle at some fun posts.

You had me at Lego Camp! That is just brilliant. I’m so with him on the snake slicer :)
It was great! He just loved it, and it got his imagination going in overdrive!
Love it – we need a Duplo Camp here!
Absolutely – the boys both loved it!
That’s brilliant! Love the imagination and what a great idea to have a lego camp!
Lego camp was brilliant! And it really fired his imagination :)
That’s just fabulous! I love the “Let go your mind”! Like they knew that’s what they needed!
Thank you! His imagination just seemed to run wild – and the teachers were just fantastic!
I want to go to Lego camp!!
That is lovely, I really like that he didn’t lose sight of the simple and included a water gun. Not entirely sure how well that would perform in space though! :D
Yeah… I suspect some of his ideas would be slightly redundant in space :)
