The Gallery: Faces

The theme from Tara for The Gallery this week is Faces.

The prompt got me thinking about how much my children have grown and changed. And yet, I can still see the baby each of them was, quite clearly, in their beautiful faces.

They are so alike, and yet so different. Same noses, same eyes, but each face unique.

I look at these faces everyday and my heart swells.

They may, at times, drive me nuts but, a smile, a kiss, an ‘I love you mummy’ makes my day.

These faces are the most beautiful in my world. These faces are everything

  1. It’s always interesting putting pictures of them at the same age next to each other. Both for the similarities, and also the way you sometimes perceive and remember them as different from each other than they are.

Amazing blue eyes, they have all inherited something good there.

    1. Most of the time they all look quite different to me, but then I’ll catch an expression or a mannerism and their similarities just jump out. There are some baby photos that it’s now tricky to tell which one it is! They are all very different personalities though :)
