50 Books 2013: Update [9]

I’m a little late to the party this month as I’ve *cough* not managed to finish a book this month…

I am still reading A Kingdom Besieged by one of my favourite authors Raymond E. Fiest. I’m enjoying it, and I’m now about two thirds of the way through… Which is terrible for a whole month of reading!

I have to finish it soon though because two books come out in the next few weeks that I must read!

The first is Resist by Sarah Crossan, the sequel to Breathe. I loved Breathe when I read it earlier in the year and I have been eagerly awaiting the sequel. The book is released on 8 October and it will be winging it’s way to my Kindle as soon as it is! How will Bea, Alina and Quinn survive? Will the rebellion that they started succeed?

Allegiant by Veronica Roth (the final in the trilogy that began with Divergent and continued in Insurgent) is released on 22 October (again it will be winging it’s way to my Kindle!) I can’t wait! What will happen to the Factions now that the secret of their origins has been revealed? Apparently some copies of the book were accidentally sent out early and the author has urged those with copies not to publish any spoilers! I will be staying away from any Internet chat just in case (although, I’m now wishing I’d pre-ordered the hard copy rather then the ebook…).

It’s going to be a great month of books, I’m determined :) Next months update will be a little more interesting!
