You’re going to be sick of interesting (?) facts about me…

Last weeks installment was my Liebster Award post. Next weeks will be my response to Mary over at Over 40 and a Mum to One who kindly nominated me for a Versatile Blogger Award – it’s all go at the moment!

So, what’s this one then?!

I’ve been tagged by the lovely Lucas from Abstract Lucas for this meme [which was kicked off by Gina at Cold Tea and Smelly Nappies, and I will be linking this post up with her here – pop over and have a look at the other posts, including Lucas’ :)].

1. Tell us your name and what you do…
I’m Sara and I’m currently a very happy stay at home mum. In my previous life I was a Design Engineer turned Project Manager.

2. I live at home with…
My wonderful husband and our three children – two boys, aged seven and four, and our 18 month old daughter.

3. My favourite thing to do is…
I love to read and I love watching escapist television. Give me a dose of vampires or demons every day and I’m a happy girl. I can then go to bed and read about them too :)

4. My favourite thing to eat is…
Hmmm, in the summer it would be a posh picnic: fresh bread, butter, lots of different cheeses, olives, chutneys… In the winter, macaroni cheese!

5. When I get cross I…
I often shout, loudly and quite irrationally. I’ve yet to get the hang of the ‘count to ten’ thing! But, and I hate to admit this, most often I am horribly passive aggressive…

6. Sometimes I worry because…
Of everything. My husband will tell you that I am not happy unless I have something to worry about. Most of my worry falls under a few headings though: people won’t like me, people will think I’m silly, I might be wrong.

7. My favourite book is…
I can’t possibly pick one! So, I’m going to have to go with a few (!): The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson (in fact, everything by this author!), Magician by Raymond E. Fiest, After You’d Gone by Maggie O’Farrell; Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon… Okay I will stop, but I would recommend anything by these authors!

8. My favourite toy is …
It’s a toss up between my iPhone and my iPad! I’d be completely lost without either of them.

9. I dislike…
Meanness, rudeness, confrontation and wasps!

10. When I grow up I want to be…
Right now, I have absolutely no idea! I’ve done the high powered career thing, I’m now doing the stay at home thing and I honestly haven’t worked out what comes next yet – but, you know what, I am not going to worry about it!
