The wee girl has developed a love of painting. Many an hour is now spent splodging paint on to sheet after sheet of paper. Occasionally I try to guide the splodging to create a piece of artwork that we might be able to frame, or at the very least pop on the fridge :)
One such attempt was to create a print of her initial that I could frame for her room. Using tape to mark out an ‘A’, I then let her loose with the paint. Pink and purple of course. I promise that I do not encourage the obsession with pink!
After she had drenched that piece of paper we got out the (pink!) glitter glue. I hoped she might make a collage, but she just wanted to paint…
And then, out came the pink paint again…
And then the purple… You may be spotting a theme!
But then! She took me by complete surprise and asked for blue :)

This looks like my kind of art! Love how much pink there is! x
Thank you, she does love her pink!
That is a great idea and it looks like she had lots of fun making it! I really need to start doing more with my little lady again!
Thanks, we have a lot of fun painting!
Love it. I have a girl obsessed with pink too. Great idea for a picture. She looks totally engrossed in her activity :)

Thanks Karen, it was fun to do, and the finished product wasn’t too bad either :)
I love this letter idea. You could do a whole set to make her name and decorate her bedroom door :)

Ah love her obsession with pink :) looks like she is having loads of fun, I really should get the paints out for Monkey again but haven’t summoned the energy for a while!! Xx #letkidsbekids
She’s getting more self sufficient now, I can leave her alone for a bit and she’s happy making a mess!
Awww amazing concentration and fascination with colours =)
My son loves to draw as well and we are learning letters and words so maybe I will try this tomorrow!

It was fun, and we ended up with a nice piece of artwork :)
I too don’t encourage the love for pink but my LittleMiss prefer it.
