My husband and I celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary last year.
Our wedding day was beautiful, everything we could have hoped for. This photograph is one of my favourites. It reminds me of the fabulous setting, overlooking the Borders countryside, as well as the big grins that were a fixture for the day; and have remained a fixture.
It isn’t one of the official photographs. I have to thank my sister for this shot, taken when we escaped from the reception for a few minutes to catch our breath.
To take a moment to savour the start of our marriage.
And, goodness, we look young!
