Alphabet Photo Project 2: A to M

After completing my first Alphabet Photography Project, hosted by Charly over at PODcast, I looked forward to starting again. As I went through each letter during Project 1, I often found more than one photo, or remembered a perfect one just after posting another!

So, I was ready and waiting when Charly kicked off the project again at the beginning of this year :)

Over the last couple of weeks I have taken a look back at Letters A to M and Letters N to Z from Project 1. Now, it’s time for a look back over Project 2, starting with the letters A to M :)

Again, I used a mix of old and new photos, and I there are quite a few images that I am really proud of in this set.

There is something so beautiful about seeing your child asleep, so peaceful and innocent. My boys are so close, and I love it when I catch moments like this one where the brothers are content to just be together. This cloud immediately takes me back to a wonderful day at the beach with family and friends. And, despite the snow this year driving me nuts, the sheer delight on the wee girl’s face in this photo (almost) makes it worth it :)

And I just love this photo of the 6yo with snow in his eyelashes.

I did become a little obsessed with taking photos of the incredible snow this winter. My house was frozen for what seemed like forever! This glass installation is one of my favourite artworks at the Museum of Fine Art in Boston. The beach at Nahant always feel huge, such an expanse of sand and sea and sky, with the horizon seeming to go on forever. More snow photos, with this one of icicles. They really were absolutely stunning, even if they did end up damaging our roof and porch!

This photo of the 6yo when we was about two, getting ready to jump, was one that I thought of after I posted ‘juicy’ in Project 1! Kiss was the only word I duplicated between projects :) This selfie, taken after the wee girl had fallen and cut her eye open, just said love to me. And, this photo of my husband and I on our wedding day (taken by my sister) is one of my favourites, rounding out this set with m is for marriage.

Each of these photos is special to me, and I love looking at them as a set. Lots of wonderful memories (except perhaps the snow…!).
