I’m a guest over at the lovely Nikki Young Writes today.
Nicola writes a wonderful blog where short stories sit alongside fascinating and informative articles about the writing process and are interspersed with lovely, thoughtful posts about family life. She often shares excerpts from the novels she is working on. Her characters are real, complex and quite simply jump off the page through the most natural, engaging dialogue. Such a tricky thing to get right; I am in awe! The pieces I have read so far make me very excited for the finished books.
I’m thrilled that Nikki asked me to write a guest post for her and I’ve shared a post about time and words, and how thankful I am to have both.
Life has a habit of stopping you in your tracks, whacking you in the face with the truth of it all, just when you need it… Time shouldn’t be wasted, and writing shouldn’t be forced…
To read more of my thoughts on time and finding the right words, please head over to Nikki’s blog, and while you’re there, do have a read of her wonderful blog!
