I’m going to be brief, or this will become a three week post! We’ve had a great couple of weeks, and blogging has been waaay down the list of priorities.
My mother arrived to spend a month with us, my eldest graduated from elementary school, my youngest graduated from preschool and to top off an exciting and excellent run of fun, my eldest turned eleven. Added to that there have been class parties and sports day, final classes and activities of the season and the school talent show.
It’s been non-stop!
The boys finish for the summer tomorrow, and I really can’t wait.
I know that entertaining three kids for the next ten weeks will try my patience at times.
But! No schools runs, no packed lunches, no rushing. I’m really looking forward to getting our bucket list finished and starting to tick things off, spending lazy days enjoying the sun, catching the summer movies, going camping, taking day trips…
And the beach, lots of time at the beach.

HAPPINESS: I have three very excited and happy children, now that Granny has arrived.

THE THREE: My eldest graduated from elementary school last Monday and I managed to get a quick shot of the three together! I can’t quite believe we’ve hit this point. His primary education is over, and after the summer he’ll be at Middle School. Too fast is an understatement! It was a wonderful evening, emotional but a lot of fun. Such a great bunch of kids, wishing them all so many good things for this next stage in their lives.
Hope you’ve all had a lovely couple of weeks. Head over to my Instagram feed to see the rest of this week’s 365 photos…

Wow, congrats to your eldest and youngest for graduating from elementary school and preschool respectively! You must be a very proud Mama. I look forward to lazy summer days too, although we’ve already had some here. By the way, what does it mean that this is a blog hop? Can I participate too or only those invited?
Oh, I seen to understand now this is a photo project that runs year-long, so I can’t participate. I don’t do many photos anyway, as I’m blind.
Thank you Astrid! I am very proud, and very glad that we are now on holiday! And yes, this is a photo project – Project 365 (a photo a day), I’m just sharing it a little differently this year, using mainly Instagram :)
Happy summer! We ended Friday – but my town’s school is in session this week!
You too! I am SO glad to be on vacation now :)
Oh my word, you have had a lot on. I can’t believe your eldest is 11. Have a wonderful time with your Mum, precious memories to make with the kids #365
It has been very busy! And, I can’t believe he’s eleven either!
Scary but exciting times ahead with the change of school for them both.
Emjoy having your mum there, and I agree much better to make the memories than post about them.
Lots of big changes! And yes, blogging will definitely take a back seat over the summer :)
Very envious of a 10 week break – I wish ours was longer, but I know you have shorter breaks during the year. How lovely to have your mum visiting!
I’ve got used to the shorter breaks the rest of the year, although September through to Christmas without a decent break is tough! The long summer more than makes up for it though :)
