So, we had another good eight inches of snow on Monday night, another ‘snow day’ off school on Tuesday and several buggy versus snow fights! All in all, as little time as possible was spent outside, entirely my fault – in all honesty, I have really had enough of the snow now.
I got stuck on this bit of pavement on Wednesday (those are balls of ice you can see ahead…). Thought I was going to have to call for help!
The weather over the weekend has been much better though. It’s cold, so the snow isn’t really going anywhere, but it’s been bright and sunny. I realised that despite all the snow we’ve had, the boys hadn’t built a snowman yet! The snow has often been too powdery or icy to make a good snowman, but this weeks was just perfect. The boys and their dad had a great time building our snowman…
There was great hilarity as they gave him different faces. I particularly liked the sunglasses on the top of the head look :)
I’m linking up with Coombe Mill’s Country Kids again this week. Click on the badge to see what everyone else has been up to.

That could actually be England at the moment! I have seen so many lovely snowy posts this week on Country Kids, though we haven’t seen any here in Cornwall. The pavement doesn’t look much fun to negotiate but the snow man looks like it brought out the best team work in your boys. Love all the accessories that help bring him to life. Thank you for linking your snow week up to Country Kids.
The boys had a great time, especially the 3yo (as always!). I think their dad quite enjoyed it too :)
As already said, that could be England, in fact our street looked just like that this morning. My tip for pushchairs is….walk backwards and pull them, you may look daft but it’s a lot easier. Your many faced snowman is fantastic :-)
Ah, that is a good tip! I couldn’t believe how stuck I got, had to practically lift the buggy up to get out :) Felt like a complete idiot! Thanks for popping by and commenting :)
Great snowman
Thank you :)
