My 7yo used to eat anything I put in front of him. He was just brilliant!
Over the last year he has become much pickier…
To be fair, he still eats really well, but vegetables are now a bit hit or miss.
Last week he decided he loved broccoli, whew said mum, and went and bought more broccoli.
Last night I found a stash of broccoli behind the TV unit…!
It would appear that the 7yo had hidden it there so that he could show me a clear plate and get pudding.
I’ll be checking under the sofas, tables, chairs in future!
I’m linking up to Actually Mummy’s Wot So Funee linky again this week. Click on the badge below to have a giggle at some fun posts.

Oh so funny!! Bless him. I remember my twin daughters being little and asking one another if they liked a particular food – if one of them said no, the other wouldn’t eat it!!
Ha, they can be very determined in their choices!
That reminds me of my brother trying to hide his brussle sprouts in his mashed potato
He he! My boys often do ‘swaps’!
OMG so wish I’d thought of something quite so crafty when I was being ‘force-fed’ new potatoes with their skins on (bleugh) when I was a kid
Ha – it was certainly sneaky of him! For me it would have been broad beans, yeuch!
Bahahaha clever boy!! That’s hilarious. Hope he enjoyed his broccoli ice cream ;)
He he, I did threaten to make him eat it!
Ha! That’s the sort of thing my Ozzy would do!
I did laugh, but imagine the mess if we hadn’t found it so soon!
lol oh dear :-
Indeed! Sneaky wee boy!
Brilliant. He’s got brains, that’s for sure :)
Yup, to smart for his own good sometimes :)
Oh my that’s hilarious! I have foundation burger under the sofa before now but I think that had more to do with high spirits and lack of motivation for proper clearing up after the BBQ!
He has his moments – sneaky little so and so :)
