Definitely going to make these ‘My month that was’ posts :)
This week we got our first pumpkins, baked pumpkin muffins, went for walks in the sunshine and went apple picking. We had picture day for the 7yo and an early release day for both boys, we went swimming and to music class.
This week we had a Monday Holiday for Columbus Day, the 7yo learnt to tie his shoe laces, we started to get ready for Halloween, th 7yo had Garden club, the 4yo had picture day, we baked Halloween cookies, we waxed leaves, we went swimming and to music class, we went to a Scarecrow Making party and learnt how to make a scarecrow, we went to the Boo at the Zoo, we experimented with colour mixing and the 7yo received his first Cub Scout badge at his Bobcat Ceremony.
Hubby was away on business from Monday through to Friday, so it was a relatively quiet week! I attended the 7yo’s parent-teacher conference (glowing report!), we had breakthrough with the wee girls separation anxiety, we went swimming and to music class. We made a volcano. The wee girl got a new play kitchen! Hubby got back on Friday afternoon and I handed him the children :) I went to the hairdressers on Saturday and hubby took the boys to the barbers. The kids played in the garden with a ball and a box and I escaped to Starbucks a couple of times :)
Halloween week saw me discover a new Halloween ‘thing’ when we were boo-ed! Halloween itself was busy, fun and full of sweets! We did our own Welly Walk for Matilda Mae. The 7yo went to a Space Derby at Cubs and also made a visit to the Zoo.
