One of my personal goals for this year is to improve my photography. When I spotted this new linky on Love All Blogs, I thought it was a perfect way for me to focus on different aspects of my photographs each week.
I took this photo on Friday. The snow had finally stopped and the skies were blue again. It’s not the most wonderfully composed photo, but I love the way the light is falling on the snow. I’m not a huge fan of the flash, it often seems too harsh and washes photos out (although I suspect that is more due to my lack of skill than anything else!), but it can be tricky to get the right natural light, especially when the weather is a bit rubbish!

How much snow?! From my (minimal) photography knowledge I know how hard it is to take decent photos of snow but yours looks great!
I was surprised too – it was taken with my phone and I have posted it as is, no filters! It was stunning, and blinding, to look at :)

Wonderful shot with the light and shadows on snow. I’m anxiously waiting my new camera kit to be delivered (delayed by the storm!) so I can get out and do more photography.
This was yet another photo taken with my phone! I have started taking the proper camera out too though :)
