Sunday marked one year since Matilda Mae, the beautiful daughter of Jennie at Edpsire, went to sleep and didn’t wake up. I can’t imagine that we were the only family thinking of Jennie on Sunday, and marking the day in some way.
When my wee girl went to the craft drawer and pulled out the bag of star stickers, held them up and said I wan stig it seemed as if she knew that stars were the perfect activity.
She loves stickers and over the last couple of months has gone from being unable to take the backing off or stick them the ‘right’ way up on the paper, to successfully pulling the backing paper off herself and creating all sorts of sticker pictures. It’s been fantastic for her fine motor skills and watching her learn – and get so excited about it – has been wonderful.
Stars for a beautiful star in the sky.
