My mother, I’m sure, would tell me that this isn’t really a proper word. And, I would love to be using one the words I had hoped to use this week; like cake or birthday or party. But no, bleurgh it is!
After a stinking cold last week, my defences were down! So, when the 4yo came down with a stomach bug (which it turns out is doing the rounds, why didn’t I know this beforehand?!), he kindly gave it to me too. Then his big brother.
So far the wee girl and hubby are okay… Although hubby has just commented that he’s not feeling too hot. We could have a clean (or not, depending on how you look at it) sweep by the weekend :(
So, bleurgh it is for me this week.
I promise to have a happier word next week :)
