Word of the Week: Productive

productive

Last week my word of the week was planning. I have a super busy few weeks ahead and I spent last week writing lists and getting my head around everything that I needed to do…

This week I have begun the mammoth task of actually ticking everything off those lists…

And, to be fair, I’ve not done too badly!

So far I have: made thank you gifts and cards for the 5yo’s teachers and the crossing guard at his school; I have spent quite a lot of time on Pinterest and I now know what I’m going to make for the 7yo’s birthday cake and party bag favours (and I will be making the favours this evening), I have shopped (and shopped!) and bought everything I need for the 7yo’s party (I think!); I have designed and ordered business cards for BritMums and if I’m very lucky they will actually arrive before I leave; I’ve just about caught up on emails; and today I finally washed all the winter coats and packed them away!

I have of course written more lists! I have sub-lists now too :)

I’m still feeling slightly panicked, there is a lot left on my to do list, but I am feeling very productive and a lot less panicked than I was!

It’s going to be a busy weekend, but I’m getting there… And whatever happens I will be on that plane next Wednesday evening :)

How has your week been?

  1. Wow, thats one busy week. I’m a bit of a list person, I feel very satisfied when I can get to tick off a ‘done’ thing! Have fun at Britmums next week.

  2. I love a good list. It helps me see where I am and is a good marker of how I am keeping up with my tasks. You sound very productive, I wish I had been this week :-) #wotw

I’m not generally this productive, although I do love a good list! I’ve had little choice this week :)

  3. Very productive! I do like that word-never feel I can use it often enough though :) Enjoy Britmums and I’m sad I won’t be there as it would have been lovely to meet you. I know you’ll have a great time xx

    1. I was glad (and relieved!) to be able to use it this week! It would have been lovely to meet you too x
