Word of the Week: Travel

travel

This week has revolved around travel. People travelling to visit us, me travelling to see family.

My father and mother-in-law arrived last Friday, a long awaited, much anticipated first visit to us in Boston. The children are thrilled to have their grandparents here and my husband is enjoying giving them a better insight into our lives in the US.

On Wednesday night I flew to the UK! My wonderful grandmother turned 100 earlier in the week and my sister and I have travelled to join in the celebrations this weekend. An event that we couldn’t possibly miss, and a chance for my mother, sister and I to spend a few days together, just the three of us. Definitely worth traveling for.

How has your week been, what would your word of the week be?

100 – wow! Congratulations and Happy Birthday to your grandmother. Hope you’ve enjoyed your trip and have a lovely time xx

  3. Lots of travelling! But how wonderful to be able to celebrate your gran’s 100th birthday with her. I hope you have a wonderful time x

  4. That sounds like a great week, what a fantastic age! Hope you had a good time at home? My word would definitely be described as Challenging. Mr R was away on business and that’s usually when everything breaks/goes wrong! :D

Ah, yes! I can definitely relate to that. Something always goes wrong when my husband is travelling :)
