Siblings: June 2015

Siblings June 2015

It’s nearly summer vacation!

And, it honestly can’t come soon enough. I have two very tired boys in desperate need of some down time.

If it wasn’t for snow days, the boys would have finished up for the year last Friday. As it is, they are in school for another six days.

They are broken!

The last week has seen both of them go on two field trips. With temperatures in the 80’s, lots of walking and lots of excitement, they have come home ready to collapse.

Their poor sister doesn’t quite know what to make of it all; as she follows them around, asking them to play with her, not understanding why they don’t want to.

To their credit, they will take her out in to the garden; blow bubbles and push her on the swing. But, patience is wearing thin, and energy levels are low. We all need a rest!

They are however as close as ever, and a last minute photo shoot yesterday morning caught some wonderful moments.

My three, at their best, messing around and laughing :)

And, like them, I can’t wait for the last day of school.

They do have a lot of fun! The tiredness is leading to rather more bickering than usual though :)

Ahhhh – the whole summer stretches ahead! We still have 5 weeks left and the tiredness is kicking in. Summer is just so lovely.

  2. Aww not long to go now! Love the photos this month Sara – the wee girl pulls some really funny faces and that first photo of the three of them cuddling up is just gorgeous. They always seem so happy together. Hope you have a wonderful summer of fun :-)

She does pull some great faces! Even when they’re messing around, they always end up snuggled in at some point, it’s lovely :)

Days are the same length, although they start and finish earlier, but we get fewer holidays through the year so a longer summer holiday :)

  3. Oh poor boys – what a lot of snow days!! Roll on the long summer holidays and lots of time for pottering around and playing with their little sis!

  4. I cant get enough of your photos! SO sweet of them together!

1 week to go and everyone can finally rest and relax! I am sure your little one will be very very happy to have her brothers play with her non stop again =)
