Silent Sunday

One of the joys of spring, picking buttercups :)

A slightly different view than the photo I shared last week. No blue skies for us, it’s rained all week!

Blue skies, blossoming trees. At last, it feels like spring.

This past week has been school vacation for us, so we took a trip to New York with the kids and some friends. It was fabulous! We did the Empire State Building, which was amazing and the views were incredible.

I’m hopeful that this will be the last chilly photo that I share this year. Although it was taken a couple of weeks ago now, the weather hasn’t been much better since… Spring, we’re ready for you!

April brought (snow) showers. The children were delighted, their mother not so much. Keeping an eye on the wee girl as she played, while it continued to snow, resulted in a cold, wet and slightly grumpy mummy! But, who can

She asked me to put her hair in two bunches for ballet, and then insisted on a mini photo shoot. The photos were lovely, I should have taken them somewhere with better light!

The wee girl did a spot of gardening earlier in the week. She was a little unsure about the resulting muddy hands!

A light fall of snow inspired some dancing in the garden!
