How does your garden grow?

HDYGG Spring is in the Air

I have been absent from How does your garden grow? again. This has been the longest winter ever! I haven’t felt particularly inspired by the outdoors. Then, suddenly, it was as if Spring had sprung overnight.

Blossom appeared. Everywhere. It is so beautiful, so refreshing, such a relief!

Blossom 1

Blossom 2

Blossom 3

Blossom 4

Blossom 5

Blossom 6

Blossom 7

Blossom 8

I cannot begin to tell you how much I needed to see leaves on the trees, blossom bursting from buds, flowers blooming; to see colour and sunshine.

The sight of pretty blossom; from white, to the palest of pink, to red and gold; makes me smile and warms my heart after this long, cold winter.

And, although the blossom is already fading; a carpet of petals will soon litter the pavements; it is a sign of the summer to come, and I am looking forward.

Love your photos, the first two look like the trees are cover in snow. You must feel like Winter goes on for ever, if it takes until May for things to start blooming. At least you know you’ll get a warm Summer, over here it’s so hit and miss!!

  5. You really did have a long long winter and deserve to be staring at all these beautiful blossoms even though I am so jealous of them. They are beauties. #HDYGG
