Word of the Week

Through a combination of better weather and my husband needing the car this week (he generally cycles to work!) I have done a lot of walking!

I’m done, enough is enough. No more snow! Please.

As soon as the jet-lag started to ease, the wee girl came down with a nasty cold. She was running a fever all weekend which meant that we had to take it easy.

Exhausted comes a close second this week, but the jet lag is the nail in the coffin!

There are many words I could use for this week: family, friends, fun, exhausting, sleepless, organised, hectic. But, sociable is the over riding feeling!

As you read this, I will be collapsed in a jet lagged heap somewhere in Dublin. This week been spent organising and packing for our trip back home. We will be visiting Dublin and Edinburgh over the next ten days.

It had to happen eventually! This week my word is snowy!

I struggled this week to choose my word. It’s been an up and down week, one of extremes. But, which extreme should win? What is my overall view of the week?
