Word of the Week

Regular readers will know that last week was not a great week, it was a week that left me frustrated. This week however has been so much better!

As I’ve said many times, this blog is a happy place, in fact it’s one of my happy places. This week however has been a bit rubbish.

I’ve been sitting here thinking about what my word for this week should be. No single word stands out as being just right.

This week I have been flying solo. My husband has been in the UK on business…

Well, this week has been different! A much needed change from the last few weeks :)

After a really, really busy few weeks with sickness, birthdays, parties and lots and lots of cakes, this week has seemed really quiet!

After two weeks of us all feeling pretty rubbish, this week has been all about taking it easy; about recovery.

My mother, I’m sure, would tell me that this isn’t really a proper word. And, I would love to be using one the words I had hoped to use this week; like cake or birthday or party. But no, bleurgh

As I sit snuffling, surrounded by tissues I can think of no other word that sums up my week quite so well! Three boxes later and there is no sign of the sneezing stopping…
