Word of the Week

This week can only be about holes. I have holes all over my house!

After realising last week that I needed to make some changes in the way that I organise my days, I have made a start. Admittedly not a very big start, but a start nonetheless.

I find myself wondering where the time goes. It seems like only yesterday it was June; now it’s October and the inevitable chaos of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas loom large.

Well, what can I say? This week has been dominated by strep throat (throat infection to us UK people). All three kids, at the same time, have strep.

This week has been long, tiring, fun, frustrating, quiet, cuddly. It has been full of coughs and sneezes; and Frozen… It would have been very easy for me to pick a negative word; with my husband away and a house

Preparation is key. Preparation is necessary. Preparation is my word of the week!

This week saw the last of our summer guests leave, with my mother returning to the UK last night.

This week has seen some things come to an end.

So…after a fairly quiet start to the week, it all got a little bit exciting!

After such a busy few weeks, this week was always going to feel a bit quiet. But, I think that the word that best sums it up is subdued.
