At last, the sun shone! After late snow falls and torrential rain, the sun has been such a welcome sight. The kids wore shorts to school, no one needed more than a hoodie all week. I even wore flip flops

This week was all about a fifth birthday. My funny, bright, beautiful little girl turned five! I still can’t quite believe it, the past five years have gone by so quickly, she’s growing up too fast.

So, this was the week of Storm Stella. After predictions of 12-18 inches of snow for Tuesday, in the end we *only* got about 7 inches. Still a fair amount, but nowhere near as bad as it could have been!
